All the employees here are very personable. I felt comfortable approaching them on the first day, asking them questions and also working with them.
In the various departments, the tasks were different, of course. I enjoyed working in the Marketing Department the most because the tasks were very varied. I was allowed to implement my own ideas and be creative, but also simply design subtitles for videos.
In the HR department, I translated a presentation, which need to be precise. I could deal with the content of the presentation.
In OP department, I created excel spreadsheets for hours and then also send emails and that not via broadcast emails is not very various. Nevertheless, I expected such tasks for interns. The exciting part was calling the companies themselves, because there I directly saw the purpose behind my tasks.
I am grateful for the impressions I have gained here in the company, and I am also pleased to have gained my first insights into the tasks of logistics.

From the very beginning, I felt very comfortable in this company, because all employees welcomed us very warmly. We knew right from the start that we could always turn to the employees with any questions or concerns. It was very exciting to get an insight into all three departments, but the marketing department was definitely the most exciting, as we were allowed to be the most creative there and were given the most freedom in our designs and creations.
I think this company is competent and I would highly recommend an internship in this company to future students.

Our past three weeks at the company has shown that it’s not that different to work in China than in Europe. Of course, everything is in Chinese, however, organizing stuff, setting tasks and coordinating everything is not that different. I’m sure that I’ll come back to China in order to see more differences, because Shanghai is so international.
I cannot tell differences to different logistics company in Germany because I don’t know how they work. This was my first time in a logistics company, but I was surprised that there was some thing like an on board courier, which sounds highly professional.
Although just a small part of the staff spoke English quite well, everybody was ready to help and explain the task to us. I felt very happy to be here and will recommend this internship.

Working in this Company for three weeks has showed me that doing an internship here in China isn’t that different compared to Germany. Yes, the language and the culture may be very different, which is what makes an internship in a different country so special and the experience so unique, but the general structure definitely showed similarities.
I feel like as an Intern you can’t expect to have the most interesting tasks and to be completely included into the companies’ work, but due to the rotation system, which gave us the opportunity to work in three different departments, we really had the chance to see as much of the company and to complete as many different tasks as possible, which I am very grateful for.
From the beginning, I had the impression that everyone working here was very kind to us as well as open minded. Especially in the first few days we often got reminded to ask questions or to communicate, if there are any difficulties, which made the start into this internship definitely easier.
I am very thankful I got the opportunity to complete this 1 month internship in this company, as my first working experience abroad.

My first internship in Germany was different regarding the content and type of work, so a comparison is difficult, but one thing that is similar, the same is the limitation of work an intern can do.
I don't know any other logistics companies, so I can’t compare but the people I met at Speed Global are hardworking and immersed in their work. Everyone I encountered was ready to help and approachable, despite the slight language barrier. I am thankful for being welcomed by this lovely team and would recommend this internship.
